Working for the major food production, distribution and supermarket companies within the food sector we have seen the industry move from predominantly polystyrene cored panels through polyurethane and onto the latest Polyisocyanurate (PIR) and rockwool cored panels commonly used throughout the industry today.
O.Turner Insulation has many years experience of the various types of cold store building styles including box in a box, dutch barn and fully exposed external buildings. This experience puts us in the ideal position to advise our clients on the pros and cons of the various styles and aligned with excellent knowledge of the latest panel and plant innovations are able to provide high quality installation erected with the latest safety inspired installation methods.
Insulated loading bays and dock ports also form a major part of the cold and chill store construction. O.Turner Insulation have extensive experience in the construction of these areas and are able to use this experience to help the client design and install solutions to maintain the cold chain requirements.
O.Turner Insulation was the first UK cold store contractor to build a high bay clad rack type low temperature cold store and has now constructed three of these stores making us the most experienced UK installer in this field.
